Life Gee, how does one start their bio w/o boring their classmates. I live in Hartsville, S.C. where I am retired from teaching science for the 25 years. I am recently widowed and have two grown children: a son, 28, and a daughter, 30. My daughter is married and has one child, a son, 4. She lives here in Hartsville and my son lives in Columbia, S.C. Both of them followed their dad's footsteps and are engineers. I am very blessed with what I have and do a program at a private school teaching Spanish (yeah, mine is really bad ) but they don't know it and think what I do speak is great. I also teach one class of science while the teacher is on maternity leave. I travel to El Paso every summer and Thanksgiving. I basically confine my time taking care of my uncle who lives in my old residence at 605 Robinson. I need to get things in order at that house one day so we can sell it but that might mean I won't make it out there as often. So we'll see what is to be with that situation. I look forward to doing some traveling in the future as my mom got me spoiled with cruises!!! Maybe one year it would be fun to get one going for those that might want to get together and sail the ocean blue. Since writing this story 2 years have passed so here's the update: now have a new granddaughter which now makes 2 Grammys for me thanks to my daughter, I am blessed! My son is getting married in May and I am not going to be involved with teaching next year. ...Expand for more
