Oscar's Story
Well, first, no one calls me Oscar any more. My full name is Oscar Ricardo Pimentel and everyone calls me Ricardo now.
I'm a journalist, have worked at several newspapers in California, Arizona and in D.C. I was in the Navy from 1973-77, serving mostly shore duty in Guam, Hawaii and Antarctica (for four months).

I've had two novels published -- House with Two Doors and Voices from the River, in both of which San Bernardino figures prominently. Have written two other manuscripts that are looking for an agent and am working on a third and fourth.
Divorced but am with someone special and loving it. Two wonderful kids, both adults, one recently married.
Mom and Dad now gone but my two brothers still live in Southern California. I live in the Midwest.
