there until moving to Davison, MI in 4th grade. My mothers brother (my Uncle Frank) was Frank Boyce the cheif of police and my parents liked the quiet and peacefullness of the suburbs vs. the city of Flint. We never truly fit into Davison and I never made a good group of lasting friends. My father was a binge drinker which kept disrupting our lives. My parents both told us it was our "little secret" and this effected my schoolwork along with my homelife. I know now that many of my classmates must have suffered similar fates, but I was the good boy and didn't whine about my problems as people do now. My girl friend throughout high school was a girl I met in Port Huron, MI and so my summers were spent on the beach. That was my "litte secret". I never went to the prom and my yearbook only has one entry. Most people don't even remember me and that was the way I wanted it. ".
