Sheri's Story
Hi All,
Where to start, I have to admit I didn't make it to the end of high school, like so many I just wanted to get out and have fun. Stupid mistake, but anyway I did some of the things I wanted to, went to San Francisco with my friend Lucy Pedraza who is now deceased. Came back home and worked for a while as a nurses aid until New Mexico called me. I lived on a commune for a year or so then went back to Cal when my parents called to say Mom was sick. t I have been here for about 34 years and I love it. I married a man named Steven Petersen and we have 7 children. We live on a 38 acre farm and grow our own food and pretty much live a rural life. We were part of the back to the land movement.
I was a full time mom and feel blessed because I have awesome kids. I have been working parttime as of late and enjoy that too. I am a care giver of an 97 year old man. I know it may not sound exciting but I have a very full filling life and wouldn't change it for anything. More later
