Ozzie's Story

It seems that when we look back, it is so easy to see things we did not see at the time when we were growing up and going through them. We tend, through the passage of time, to filter out the unpleasant stuff. I suppose that is a good thing. Those that do not, or can not, can have a lifetime of lasting negative effects. Those that do can come to terms with themselves and have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes. I say this from the get-go because I want to say I am sorry to all those I may have mistreated or in anyway treated badly back then at old Jefferson High School. The truth is, as many I am sure remember, I was not all there. I had and have big-time ADD. Of course no one knew much about it back then, so many, including myself, thought that there was something wrong with me. So I did many stupid things. Truthfully, many of them are hard to remember the specifics of because of all the embellishments I took. I tried the best I could at the time to be a good person and I hope that some of you who knew me then, can or do, remember that. For those who did not know me personally then, well now you know. I am that crazy guy in the blue Honda 450 motorcycle! BTW, does anyone remember that killer, long ass, wheelie I did ...Expand for more
in front of the school once? It started from that corner light by Mayfair Market, across the front of the school, and ended by that furniture store up the street from the school. Wow I was nuts! But that sure was fun. Although growing up is not easy, it is easier with friends. I had many that I still remember well, some I remember vaguely, and truth be told, some I do not remember at all. Sad but true. For those that visit, on purpose, my Classmates ® Guestbook, please so I do not go crazier then I am now, give me a hint, refresh my memory of where I knew you and how. After I left JHS I worked at various places and did numerous things. I got married, buckled down and went back to school. I studied electronics, then computers, and ended up as the Product Specialist for the Atari 2600 Video Game working at Atari Corporate Headquarters in Sunnyvale California. Those were fun days. I kept at computers and became a specialist in hardware, software, and networks. I worked at some really cool places as a government contractor. Finally I retired and am currently living in my house in Orange County California, or as they say in TV land, the OC. That is it. Oh, and while down here in the LA area, I was in like five movies. Funny that.
