Carlos's Story
My story is no less important than your own.
Welcome!
I dropped out of Edgewood in February of my senior year. Not a wise move. I ended up watching my classmates graduate from behind a chain link fence at Thyberg Field.
Linda (Lambrecht) and I married in March 1981; separated in July 1981; were divorced in November of 1981. Hey, we were young.
Two years later I entered the seminary.
Before joining the seminary, I needed a high school diploma. I enrolled in Bassett Adult School where I received both my high school diploma (graduated top of the class) and my G.E.D.
I spent approximately four years in the seminary between two religious orders in Missouri and New Jersey.
Following my best friend's suicide (in the seminary) I decided not to return. Several years later I met Amy (Casas) the mother of our six children (Jennifer, Jacquelyn, Michael, Kristina, Matthew, and Joshua).
We married in 1987, separated in 1996, and divorced in 2001. I am not proud of my failed marriage history but I do consider myself blessed to have loved and known two remarkable women.
I moved to Whittier, California where I lived between 1998 and 2001. I purchased a house in Victorville, California in 2000 before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2002.

rtunity to visit Philadelphia in 2004, and Baltimore and Washington D.C. in 2005. The visit to Washington D.C. was a dream come true for me.
I published "Baltimore Monday: A Celebration of Life Beyond Sexual Abuse " in 2006. Yes, it is true. I was sexually abused as a child through 1974.
I enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2007, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in "Human Services Management."
I published "Two Fist Running Horse" my first children's book in 2007.
In 2008, I officially opened "Carlos Michael Communications" - a publishing, presentation, and professional speaking business. I mainly specialize in assisting first-time authors with writing and publishing as well as speaking professionally -- when invited.
I published "Let There Be Light" in 2009, and "Twelve Doors Knocking" in 2010.
In 2012, I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in "Adult Education and Training."
I lost my brother Frank to cancer in 2013; my mother in 2018, and my dad in 2020.
I am still residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Feel free to contact me anytime.
I am on Facebook, or you can reach me through my website.
I am always happy to reconnect with members of the EHS family.
