Paige's Story
Life
When I graduated, I headed back to my home state - West Virginia - and attended Marshall University where I majored in art and Spanish to teach.There I married in haste and ended up in N.J. and eventually here in Texas where I had my family. Two daughters and a son. It wasn't until the marriage ended that I feel like my life began!
I married my present husband, David Bridges, in 1978 and together we raised his 2 girls and my 3 and now have a grand total of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren! We live in a small East Texas town about an hour's drive from Dallas and together we pastor a full-gospel, non-denominational church.
Art was and still is my consuming passion. I have a large home studio where I give private art lessons as well as do custom framing in my attached shop. In 2003 I launched a website devoted to artwork I created to showcase my consuming interest in VINTAGE TRAVEL TRAILERS. When my husband and I began RVing in 1998 I had painted a little scene with a vintage travel trailer and woodie station to hang in the LR of our fifth wheel. Little did I know that that painting would spawn a whole new art career! Today my Vintage Travel Trailer Artwork is being reproduced by national companies like CURRENT and CoasterStone and sold worldwide. Recently it was reproduced on fabric for the quilting industry! I've even been featured on TV in a segment for Bob Phillip's popular series: Texas Country Reporter. You can still catch it in reruns on the FRD Channel, they tell me.
