Pam's Story

My story is pretty average and boring. Well, except for the two-college thing. Don't ask!! I did get commissioned in the Air Force which was my dream. I was in from 1984 - 1988 as a Munitions and Aircraft Maintenance Officer (IYAAYAS!), all at Bitburg AB, Germany. After that I caught up with Eric (my husband whom I met at the University of Maryland) at Ramstein AB, Germany. We've been married and with the Air Force since June 1984 and we're still traveling around, headed to Turkey August 2008. We have two kids and they are payback from my parents! Steven starts school at the University of Rhode Island in September 2008 and Patricia will...Expand for more
start her sophomore year in Turkey. Kind of like her mom! And she is much more a leader and rather bossy. That girl keeps me on my toes! Steven is unfortunately following in his mother's footsteps with all the partying his first semester in college. Hard to believe, but I actually did that in college! I take great delight in embarrassing my children at their sporting events and when their friends come over, which is often. They enjoy hearing the stories about the "computer" we had at BK and how frequently it crashed and the contests we had to restart it. And truly, with the things life has thrown at us, "Oh well!" is still my quote!
