Pam's Story
It's been awhile since I lived in Ballard! I moved to Mountlake Terrace in 1985, then Mukilteo in 1987. In 1995 My husband and 2 1/2 kids and I moved to Michigan. By the summer of 1996 there were 3 kids and we were moving again, this time to Indiana. We've lived in Indiana since then! My oldest, Sarah, is going to be a junior at Grand Valley State University this fall. Currently, she is finishing up a semester at the University of Granada (Spain). Next is Stefan who will be a senior this fall. Last, but never least, is Jacob who will be in 8th grade. All of the children are very musical and have been deeply involved in their school marching bands (Jacob is in his first year of marching). ded us the opportunity to travel this half of the country which I'm sure we wouldn't have done from Washington! We've also been able to reconnect with my husbands family in Michigan and Pennsylvania. I am currently a kindergarten teaching assistant in a private school. Prior to that, I taught preschool for 5 years at the same school. Before that, well I was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom! I've been married to the same great guy for 23 years and look forward to many, many more years of good times and good memories! Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the reunion. School starts for my boys the second week of August and we also have to move our daughter back to school that same week. Such is the life of a parent! Hope all is well with the rest of the class of '79.
