Pam's Story
Life
Goodness......Well I'm not where I started that's for sure.....Instead of four legs with one horse power I am now doin' many horse power, and have traded hooves for tires....and somehow the name given would be a farm animal not quite as imposing as the furry four legged thing I grew up with......HOG???......How much fun I'm havin'....the sense of adventure grows with every year....Sometimes the thinner time grows on this side of our lives the better our adventures are!
I have three wonderful children who are just so non-conformist.....their father was the straw that broke the camels back of non-conformity.....poor things never had a chance! Sadly we lost my husband their dad to brain cancer almost four years ago.......luckily, we have learned to look forward and not linger in the past where sadness can consume with life tr...Expand for more
agedies....
I live with-in a few blocks of Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata Minnesota; where people drive on water in the winters.....they are looney, but very lovable. We (my family) spent most of our summers weekending and holidaying on the lake in a cabin cruiser. Our floating cabin, for here there are no cottages, just "up north" or "at the cabin". I found home when not really looking. How blessed can one be?
I do find myself longing for old aquaintences and friends from "home".....rarely get to see any....I do get "home" from time to time to see my family there......I would love to run into someone someday. The time is usually short but would love to make a minute to chat and find how things are with any of you......
In closing..........I wish you all wonders of youth as we grow into wisdom......take care and be well...Pam
