Pamela's Story
Life
After High School, I traveled some and then attended Purdue Univ. in Indiana. I majored in Social Work/Rehab Therapy and
Supervision. During College I worked as a Tour Guide at an area Historical Village and was HOOKED! I eventually became Dir. Of Patient Svces at a
local Regional Medical Center. I quit when Dad became ill so that I could be his caregiver and am now
self employed and LOVING IT. I do 18th century living history re-enactments
and specialize in reproducing Museum qu...Expand for more
ality reproductions of
items that were used during that time period. My specialty is quillwork embroidery
and I recreate Native American accoutrments using that medium but also am quite involved in spinning weaving and other historical lifeways. I can usually be
found anywhere that there is a living history re-enactment occuring and travel quite a lot. My time period
spans 1740 to 1830. I also design and maintan webpages as a sideline.
Life has sure been an adventure since school!! :-)
