Pam's Story

Life Hi everyone. My husband Darrell Ray (MV class of 57) and I are retired in Benton, Arkansas. He plays golf and I do volunteer work for the local food pantry. We have one grandchild age 7. My son Randy and his wife are expecting twins in April 2008. My parents are still active and have a motor home which they travel in a lot. We make it back to the San Diego area every couple of years. We still own a business in Chula Vista. Handy Mini Storage on Main Street, if you need to store your stuff! Upda...Expand for more
ted 4/24/14 A lot has changed since I wrote the above paragraph. Darrell passed away in July 2013, then my mom passed away in September. It was a rough few months. One highlight, I took Darrell's ashes to IB and with the help of some help from some wonderful Mar Vista classmates, tossed the ashes off the pier. Also, I have 3 granddaughters now. The oldest is nearly 15 and the twins are 7. I still volunteer at the food pantry, so I have plenty to keep me busy. Looking forward to the 45 year reunion in August.

The first food to arrive! Several people took their food directly to the Post Office, so one of the carriers brought it to CJCOHN.

Our volunteer, Brian Shafer, is moving to Texas. He has been a wonderful member of the CJCOHN family and we will miss him a lot, not just for his work at CJCOHN, he is a wonderful person! He has trained and encouraged young
Had a very nice dinner with Vincent Robinson this evening. We have talked about doing this for 5 years and we were finally able to be available on the same night.
My shirt says it all.
