Pam's Story
Life
I have 3 sons, 26, 22 and 19. Now live in Draketown, Georgia which is 5 miles from Temple. On my 2nd marriage. Will be 13 years in November. My first marriage lasted 18 years. MY GOD- I think I've been married too long! haha! Have really turned into a NASCAR nut, (believe it or not)! Alot of my friends think I've gone crazy! I have been lucky enough to attend several races and I LOVE IT!!!! My sister Angie graduated in 1978 from South Cobb and my brother Mike graduated in 1980. He passed away in 1989 at Crawford Long while I was giving birth to my youngest son Cory at Parkway Hospital. My mom passed away in 2001 at the age of 59. has certainly changed in ways that I could not ever have imagined! My 2 oldest sons are now EMT's, (just like my brother Mike started out), and my youngest son attends University of West Georgia and is on the Dean's List. I am so proud of them. They have accomplished so much and have worked very hard to get to where they are!
Workplace
Currently I am not working and I hope to keep it that way! I ran my own in-home daycare for 16 years. When my boys were old enough I went back to work at Wellstar Cobb Hospital and then transferred to Wellstar Douglas Hospital. I left my job in April 2005. I have not worked since, except to be a mystery shopper for a few companies to have some "BLOW" money.
