Pam's Story

Let's see. It has been a tragic and hilarious tale of girl meets boy, girl marries boy, girl discovers boy is not Prince Charming, girl repeats cycle. Actually, my life has been the coolest and weirdest journey. The toughest and best part is that I have two amazing daughters. Their dad and I divorced recently. I've been teaching for 11 years on the South End of Columbus. I love working with urban kids and I love my school and I love teaching Reading and Writing. And I get paid for it. Seriously. Now, I am at the place where I am learning, finally, what I really want in life and I don't settle for anyone else's drama. I live with my girls, huge dog, and three cats on the West Side ...Expand for more
of Columbus. No, not Hilliard - the West Side, mf. Just kidding. I'm about to earn my Master's degree in Teacher Leadership and four years ago I earned my National Board Certification. I train student teachers in all areas and developed a program at our school with Otterbein College (alma mater). Eventually, I want to teach part-time on the college level doing this and pursue my Special Education certification. Also, when I'm old and have more time and money I want to get my Doctorate. Dating is fun. And not so fun. And weird. And cool. I've really become enamored with riding on motorcycles. I love to camp. I LOVE this election and the politics surrounding it. Enough about me...
