Pam's Story
Life
I life in Oklahoma now if you can believe that and pretty much hate it 10 months out of the year (the only time the weather is bearable). I have my family here tho and that is what counts. I have my own home and lots of land as I live in the country. Believe me, as a City girl it takes a lot of getting used to. I miss the ocean and the beautiful weather of So. Cal. and thankfully get to go back to Norwalk every summer. My daughter Tara is now 26 and graduated Suma cum laude from O.U. Tara is now working on her masters in English. I have a 12 year old son, Terrence, who keeps me on the ball. I am disabled from back proble...Expand for more
ms but am attending college again and really like it. Other than that, not much going on here in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Workplace
I haven't worked for a couple of years now, but when I first came to Oklahoma I decided not to take a secretarial job as I always have but instead decided to work at a bakery. I worked in a bakery from 1994 to 2005. At first I was a commercial baker and I loved it. It was hard work and I had to change positions to a cake decorator(lol) and held that position till I disabled in 2005. I thought I would hate being a cake decorator but I actually enjoyed it and will making my daughters wedding cake in May.
