Pamela's Story
Life
After graduating from Hillsboro High I went on to pursue a music education degree but found out I loved teaching little children. So I received my BA from Missouri Baptist in Elementary Education and am now working on my masters. Along the way I met my future husband and in July 2000 we married. Together we have four little girls. They are the best gifts we have ever received. Each one is unique, amazing, and beautiful. I know it sounds insane and unexpected but we both wanted a big family and I wanted to stay at home with them so we figured we would just have them pretty close together and that they are. My oldest is 6, #2 is 5, #3 is 3 and my youngest will be 2 in Septemebe...Expand for more
r. Needless to say they keep me very busy with school, Ice skating gymnastics, swimming, and playdates. However, I did want to use my degree so after # 2 was born I decided to work with Parents As Teachers. I am a very part time Parent Educator but I love my job. I guess right now I feel like I am getting the best of both worlds staying at home but also working towards a career that I love and provides the escape where I can be Pamela the professional one night a week. So that is the bulk of what I have been working on for the past 10 years wow 10 years that is crazy I do not feel that old(lol). I hope all of you are having a wonderful life and enjoying every second of it.
