My Spouse
We worked together at St. Peter Hospital back when I was a senior in high school. But it wasn't love at first sight :-) We knew each other for several months before we began dating. As of April this year, we have been married for thirty years!
My Pets
We had two cats, litter mates . . . two girls, but they are both gone now. Taffy was 20 years old, and we thought at times she would outlive us, but not to be. My Job
I also just celebrated 30 years at Group Health. I have held many positions over the years, and am currently working as Director of Systems and Strategic Initiatives, side by side with one of our Medical Directors - and love working with him.
If I'm lucky, I'll be able to semi-retire at 55 (coming up really quick!) at which point I hope to do something short term a little closer to home. We'll sell our home and all the other junk we don't really need, then sail (well, motor actually) off into the sunset on our boat - first to Alaska, and then who knows!
