Life After SJHS '73
I graduated American River with an AAS in medical assisting. I married an Air Force guy and moved to IL. We have 3 sons who are all grown. The middle son is a NY State Trooper, the youngest graduated with a BS in psych/philosophy and is teaching English in Japan. I now live in upstate New York and have for the last 18 years. rivate business & technical institute. I recently completed another degree in Early Childhood Education and plan to combine the 2 degrees for a BS in science.
Family has always come first for me so my career and education has come second--but I have no regrets. We only get to grow up with them once.
Did life turn as as expected? Not quite, but just a few regrets, but many more joys than I had dreamed.
