Pamela's Story
I live in Indiana and have been married for 42 years. My husband Jim and I eloped in 1973. We got married and went to his prom. I robbed the cradle-I am one year older than him. After basic training, we got stationed to CO. In 1975 we were stationed in NM, where our first son, Brian was born. When our military life was up, we moved back to KY. In 1979 our second son, Michael was born. In 1980, my husband Jim got a job in IN and we have been here ever since. In 1983, my first girl, Amy was born. My son Brian has 2 kids, Joseph 16, and Julie -just about 15 next month. My son Michael has 2 kids, Brixby 7, and Gwendolyn 2 1/2. Amy and her husband say no kids. Our grandkids are everything to us and they are very close to Gramps and Teddy Grams.
Unfortunately on Jan. 28, 2014, my husband Jim passed away. He had a rare illness but it still was a shock that he died. He was and still is the love of my life. I miss him so much. This past April 2014, it would have been 41 years married. Not bad for eloping.
