Afer leaving high school I attended Southern University in Baton Rouge from 1975 to 1976. I exited in 1976 to work in Corporate America. After working for 18 years, I returned to Southern University in Baton Rouge from 1992 to 1995 to pursue a degree in Nursing. I became very ill 1995 after transferring to SUNO. ster and upon returning in 1996, I immediately changed my concentration from Pre-Nursing to Biology. I graduated in May of 1999 with a B.S. in Biology, minor in Chemistry. I felt the need to go a little further and in 2001, I attended the University of Phoenix and graduated in July 2003 receiving a Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction.
