Pamela's Story
Right...so I've been busy saving the planet, Lol. Actually, I retired from US Air Force the 1st of April 2009. I have been all over the globe and visited most of the US and several countries. I would still be in the AF had it not been for my, divorce, my back surgery, and me being a single mom. My daughter Samantha is my life. She will turn 17 this January 2011. She is smart, beautiful, and the best of both her father and myself. She is why I retired...why I still breath...and the center of my universe. n 2009, I retired...after 20 years of service. I don't regret it, even after a year of unemployment. You see, we are in SD and there are not many jobs here. I finally got picked up as a GS-5, Federal Employee, at Ellsworth AFB, SD...the very base I retired from. I thank God every day I have to get up and go to work!!! I have worked since I was 14 in the fields of my best friends family farm and I was miserable when I was unemployed for that year! I don't ever get back to Medina as both my parents have passed on, and my brother is in Ashville, NY. My life is with Sammy. Although I miss Lori Zelazny-Hinson, Darlene Wilson -Hartway, Kathleen Wright-Altman, and Brenda Withey (?) I have lost contact w/them all. I would like to re-establish contact w/them so if any of you have any info I would appreciate it. And, as Tiny Tim said, "God Bless us all"...
