Pamela's Story
Life
I married in 1973. We lived on board our sail boat for a couple of years in Dana Point Marina. We divorced in 1980. During that time I was a legal secretary in Tustin. I remarried in 1983 and moved to Santa Clara. Our twins, Karen and Christopher were born in 1984, in San Jose. We moved to Maryland in 1985. We moved to Rancho Murieta (Sacramento area) in 1987 and learned to golf. Moved to Virginia in 1995. We live in Leesburg which is about 45 minutes from Washington, D.C.. I love living here. from high school in 2003 and then go off to college. So, my husband and I may move back to Rancho Murieta, build a house and golf our brains out. My favorite hobbie is genealogy. I have been a researcher for about 15 years now. My family celebrates our Scottish roots by attending the Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina, every year. We wear our tartans, listen to the pipes, eat, drink and make merry. It has been a good life. I only wish that more of my high school friends had been along for the ride. If you are planning a trip to the nation's capitol, be sure to look me up.
March 19, 2010: Since writing the above, we sold our Leesburg, VA home in 2008, and purchased an RV. Now we roam about the country chasing the good weather and visiting friends.
