Pamela's Story
So. I ended up teaching kindergarten for 23 years. Had five kiddos. They are in five states. All doing good. Oldest is a Dr. second works for a church in Milwaukee. Third is a business manager for a big company in TN and owns a horse farm in TN. Fourth is a school psychologist and fifth is an IT director for a business out of Boston. But lives on west coast and flies in to Boston every six weeks. Life is sure differant now than when we drove our hupte cars up and down Genesee ST.
So now we live out west on a few acres and it’s a blessing.
I heard Mr. Gilke (orchestra/band director) lived to be 90+ years old, he was the best person I ever knew.
I went to Concordia u in River forest and transferred to DePaul U.
My biggest regret is not moving out west here 40 years ago. I became a born again Christian at DePaul and that compass has been my guiding light. If you don’t know Jesus. Understand that He came as a sacrifice for your sin and mine. We all made enough mistakes. And most of us understand that by now. It’s never too late to ask God for forgiveness and understand that God did send His Son Jesus to take the punishment we deserve. That’s right we can not earn heaven because we keep messing up but because Jesus paid the price God will forgive those that ask for forgiveness and call on Jesus as your savior and thank Him for dying for your sin and mine. You can be a new person in God’s eye. Then Go be baptized and have water poured over your head in the name of :God the Father ,God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Because that’s what Jesus said to do in Matthew 28: 19-20. 19 , “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
And then share the good news of Gods love. And do what Jesus said and sin no more. Be quick to say sorry and pray and read the Bible to learn mor...Expand for more
e. Yes , the Bible is a story from cover to cover of who Jesus would be; that was in the Old Testament. That’s right , it’s all about Jesus, starting in genesis ,God promised to send a new Adam and Eve, (And that new Adam was God s son Jesus.) . God also said ,: ” And God said, let us make man in our image, after our
likeness ””. Genesis 1:26. Look it up. Important because this indicates Jesus was always there with the Father from day one.
Then in New Testament John says : “in the beginning was the word and the word was God.”
So how did those Old Testament people get saved?? They believed GOD was going to send Jesus , even though they had NOT seen Him , they believed.
So now we know for a fact Jesus came. History admits Jesus rose from the dead. Yes, those pesky Romans kept good records. They knew. Jesus was seen by thousands after the resurrection!!! He spoke to crowds of people . So why isn’t there more about this ?? Cause it was common knowledge to the people then. It’s kind of like if you went to the store and saw someone you knew there. You wouldn’t go home and record the event. It was common knowledge. Jesus is alive.. indeed.
The Romans knew Jesus had really died they made sure as they kept accurate records. And the Romans also knew and SAW Jesus after He rose .
Why else has the secular world ignored the fact that NO Place claims to be the grave of Jesus??
Thousands saw Him after the resurrection . It was common knowledge that Jesus rose from the dead . It’s not a fable. It’s a fact.
Trust in Jesus , it’s the only way to heaven.
I pray We all see Him with a welcome home sign. Be blessed. Follow Jesus. The blessed mother said yes to God. And her yes was an example for us. Ps the sin of Adam and Eve was their desire to have all knowledge of God. In a word, they wanted to be God. Isn’t that the root of all the sin? We want to worship our selves and be our own Gods. How’s that working for us??? Not too well. Say yes to Jesus today. !!! Be blessed.
