Pamela's Story
40 years is a long time since we were students at Highland. Let's see, I attended 3 schools, first Lewis and Clark College for my Freshman year, then went to U of Arizona with a short summer stop at the U of U. Graduated from UA in '74 and then went on for my graduate degree in Housing and City Planning at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. That is now why I live where it is always warm! After about 6 months as a Housing Planner in Portland, Oregon, I decided to follow my heart and I moved to Israel where I lived for 4 years. I met an Israeli we marriend and then moved to Arizona where the climate was similar to our Israeli desert. I've worked in many different fields because I love learning new things. nto computers where I went from knowing nothing to a Senior Systems Analyst for the Dept. of Economic Security for 14 years. Yeah, I was a Home Ec major! Go figure! Anyway, I had two beautiful daughters, Lili and Simona, two husbands whom I divorced and now am amazingly happy with my current husband who is also Israeli. My youngest daughter recently got married last November and my husband created all the flower arrangements single-handidly. Very talented man. 3 weeks after the wedding my father passed away so we had a rollorcoaster of a year end. My husband, Amnon, and I have our own air duct/carpet cleaning business and we are very happy with our lives. We dance 3-4 times a week, ballroom, salsa, and Israeli folk dancing. What else is there?
