Life Wow! Where to start. You can get a hold of us at thestokems on yahoo There is so much, guess I will keep it simple. I am married to David Stokem, (my soul mate and love of my life) I had to travel far and wait long, but I finally found him! He is from Nevada and I have a wonderful step-daughter who is now ten. Everyone always said "I figured you had a really big boyfriend." Guess I finally figured it out and left the little guys alone, now I have one that doesn't let me run over him. lol! I've always been "hard to handle" but I found one that has the perfect balance, we truely compliment each other. I hope everyone finds the kind of relationship and happiness that we have. I didn't think it was possible, but waiting til 30, was really worth it. I worked with "troubled or At Risk" youth for over 13yrs and have been a "Therapeutic foster home". After an attempted riot in one of the Detention Centers, my husband asked me to do something else. So, we sold the horses, got rid of the rest of the animals, put everthing else in storage, I got a license to drive a Semi and we have traveled the country driving the truck together. I thought I would hate it, being confined like that, in the truck, but it was great! I have seen most of the U.S. and had time to stop and play along the way. I had a birthday dinner over Niagra Falls, toured the beaches of California in a convertible while the truck was in the shop, got burnt to a crisp on South Beach Florida, have gambled in casinos across the country and played in Vegas. I have been through New York City, St. Louis by the arch and so much more. We have also enjoyed several theme parks, including Disney Land and Hershy Pa. Yes, chocolate has a theme park, and giant chocolate kisses for street lights! It makes doing any other kind of job, other than working with kids, very monotonous.
