Life To use this space to write briefly of one's life is a challenge so I will try. When I graduated from High School, I started working at Riverside Retarded Children's Assoc and attended RCC. I then met my future husband who was stationed at March Air Force Base and we married in 1971. We moved to his home town in Michigan with our new daughter in 1972 as he had a great job with General Motors waiting for him. We lived in Linden, Michigan for the next 23 years. I learned to brave the ice and snow, learned to love cross country skiing, gardening-all the great things the country has to offer. Our son was born into our family in 1981. Our marriage ended in 1994 two weeeks after I became a grandmother. I then moved to South Carolina in 1997 where my daughter and her family moved two years previously. I adjusted to the warm weather once again, loving the ocean that is fifteen minutes from where I now live. Starting over in life, I went back to finish college once again. I then remarried to a southerner that ended within less than a year. As a good friend expressed, "the lonely's will do it every time" since I married due to loneliness.
