Pamela's Story
. I've been told I should name the others in my family. We had eight kids, but lost a boy,Tommy, and a girl Brenda. The rest, from oldest to youngest, w/grad year from FDSH, are: Tim 1967,John 1970, Me 1971, Jim(BO)1972,Paula 1974, and Jeff 1978. (Had they lived, Tommy would have been in 1968, Brenda in 1976)
Still writing, but don't share well with others, cuz that would just prove me to be as crazy as everyone always thought I was!
Still into music, all the oldies, rock and roll, and still like to rattle the windows at times.
Still reading about anything I can get my hands on, and yes, I still read the new phone book when it comes out each year.
About the Photo's:
(I have no idea what I am doing! Only had the scanner and camera since Christmas, so they are not reproduced as well as they could be.)
My parents were very active,as you can see, and Mom was Den Mother of the Year 2 or 3 times. Our dad was also Cub Master, and Coached Little League for years. Jackie Yates and Rocky Pebbles were on the team with my oldest brother Tim. My Dad was also a spokesman for Hormel, and ...Expand for more
went around to the schools every year, I think the 4th grades?, with displays and talked about what becomes of the pig and the different meat cuts, etc. I will have to find one of those pics. But many of you may remember him if you ever went to Fun Night in any of the grade schools. He was the Clown, wearing the big shoes and over-sized sunglasses, had a dang buzzer in his hand to shock you. His outfit was white, with big red polka dots, red ruffled collar, and pockets of every size and color. You gave him a ticket and got to pick a pocket, where you would reach in and get your prize. He also did private parties for the Lions, Kiwanis, Izaac Walton league, and parades. We have no pics of him dressed, but if any of YOU should have one, we would love to have a copy!
I would have filled out the 'what kind of kid were you in school', but they did not have my category: sweet, and a nut, who talked too much. which is what most people wrote about me, including teachers. In fact Mr Sturdevant, Math, wrote I was "perfect 99 percent of the time, so let's correct that other 1 percent." and I had to take that yearbook home, so my dad could read it. man did I catch holy crap for that little remark...
