Pamela's Story
Life Story? It is still ongoing ... My mother was a "rabbette" at Mesa High. She graduated in 1938. My dad's sister, Margaret Millet, taught dance at Mesa High our senior year, guys!
I am Pamela Millet Hart. If you remember me, please say "Hi!"
My 2nd favorite exercise (sport?) is dancing ~ with a romantic partner, preferred.
I've been divorced and widowed. I've been single since 1997.
(I can't tell who has signed my guestbook, as sadly I am not a paid member.)
1961 ... a very long time ago, huh?
Short summary: I spent 2 years studying at BYU, then married a Utahn, had 3 children, then divorced and went to Canada for 4 years - rode mules and a garbage truck, getting thrown by each.( More below, or write me!)
Tried a couple of times more back in Utah, my late husband dying after almost 14 years, at his young age of 43 (I was 53.) We wrote & performed music together as "the 2 of Harts." (. c o m)
My life is a mixture of good & bad,but I'm grateful to still be around. Lots left to learn, apparently.
I do remember most of our classmates, but a positive feeling comes over me when I hear from any of them.
I still try to develop my interests & talents but haven't set the world on fire.
I had 3 children with my first husband but have been married more than once. I have two grown granddaughters who live and work Idaho.
I was widowed in 1997 (by my talented husband with whom I performed our original music as well as some of the popular "classic" olde...Expand for more
r tunes from well-known artists of "different" styles, such as the Beatles, the Eagles, & many others).
If you'd like to hear some song samples of our music (on our CD) there is a sample linked at the 2 of harts . c o m
I've only been to one reunion, 2001, one month after the horrific events of 9/11/01. I saw a lot of older faces (mine included) there, but missed many with whom I had been close in the years up to & including '61. I enjoyed singing in duet (other singer, J. Chesser) at the Saturday night event during that reunion gathering. (Sadly, the reunion booklet is now a matter of record that "clique" /(bully) mentality & immaturity still abides in some of our classmates.)
I've lived in Utah for most of my time since I left Mesa at age 17, to go to BYU (2 years), then on to marriage, and Weber State, in Ogden, Utah, then to Canada, then to Virginia for 6 years, then back to Utah, where my partner Jer died.
I am now alone, but one son is staying with me since graduating with a bachelor degree in computer programmng. My older son is a title researcher, in Weber County about half an hour's drive from Salt Lake City where I now live. My daughter, the eldest, has worked in retail and just moved down from Idaho to Ogden, Utah, in 2015.
I go by dustyshot on the big a if you'd like to respond & tell me more about you & your family, etc.
I would love hearing from you!
