Life OK, overall my philosopy remains the same, however, some of the details have changed over the years. It has been three years since I updated this narrative, so I guess it is time. My work history remains the same. The late 60's and early 70's emphasis on social consciousness had a definite impact on my career path. I spent 20 years working in roles committed to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and families, the majority of the time spent in upper management, overseeing a wide range of services. I am still firmly committed to these causes, and I guess that it will always be a part of my life. I have always loved the work and mission. However, eight years ago health reasons precipitated a major change and I had to stop working. My "silver lining" philosophy once again proved true. I firmly believe that "life it what we make it".
