Don 's Story
Life
After high school I attended Mt San Antonio, Jr College and graduated in 1967 with an AA degree in Biological Science.
I then did a tour of duty in Vietnam as part of the "Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club", better know as the US Navy.
Grew up a lot and promised myself that I would return to the orient with a private company.
After my discharge, I did various jobs and after being laid off a number of times, I decided to go back to school and complete my education. I chose engineering and entered Cal Poly, Pomona in 1972. I graduated in 1974 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

e a project manager supporting Asian manufacturing facilities and outside vendors.
In 1985 I got my MBA.
I filled a US passport in 3 years, traveling to the Philippines, Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Thailand, and mostly Malaysia. The only problem was the 3 hour commute.
I am currently an independent consulting engineer.
My wife Sandee and I have been married for 26 years. Have a step son Brandon(31) and a grandson, Bradon(2).
We have a half acre in the old Los Sorranos area of what is now Chino Hills.
Gardening and the occasional car restoration occupy the time between contracts.
Update, Sandee passed away in 2015.
