Of course, I'm almost 64 like most of you and am retired after 20 years of teaching. I would still be teaching because I loved my students but fibromyalgia entered my life and made moderate to severe pain a daily occurance. I ended up retiring early from a job that I loved. I met my husband of 42 years here in San Antonio while he was stationed at Lackland AFB. We are a retired military family and both of us are also retired teachers and now on Social Security too. Gosh we are old! We have 5 children (4 girls and 1 boy and no, he is NOT the youngest). The oldest was born here in San Antonio--the youngest was born in Germany and the other 3 were born in Bossier City, LA while we were stationed at Barksdale AFB. Only military people and/or LA residents can pronounce Bossier--it's not BOSS ier but Bow (ribbon in hair bow) and shur.
