Pat's Story
After 50 years, where do you start? Life has been good. I was divorced when my youngest daughter was 12 and oldest was 18. Remarried in 1988 to a man with six daughters - yes, we now have eight with 30 grand children and one great granddaughter. Have been totally blessed in that all the girls get along with each other and the step-parent. In fact, we're just Mom and Dad to all of them. Finally decided after several years of marriage to go to college where I received an accounting degree. "Bean counting" is all I have ever done over the past 50 years. I'm still working in a doctor's office doing the billing and books. One of these days I will retire.

house in '08. We both love it down here with the exception of missing the four girls still in Washington along with eight of the grandkids. One gets very spoiled being able to see them all the time to not seeing them at all!
Last year I was called to jury duty for the first time. If you've never had the experience, don't jump on it! The case lasted SIX MONTHS and was a death penalty case for two murders. I do not recommend it! Other than the birth of the girls and grand children that was probably the most exciting thing that every happened.
Looking forward to catching up in September with classmates - hopefully you have more exciting tales to tell - we lead very quiet, calm lives! See you all in September!
