Pat Chauvin:  

for a company that makes pre-cast concrete. After graduating from ODU, I was in the Army for 4 years. I was commissioned through OCS, and was discharged as a 1LT. I worked for Xerox a couple of years, and joined a small wholesale florist supply firm (2 employees). I worked for Floral Wholesalers, Inc. 20 years and eventually became CEO and majority stockholder. At almost the peak of our growth and expansion an investor came along and bought me out. It was sort of the "American Dream", and good for both sides because I got out before the business drove me nuts, and our 13 employees were assured of a stable future. I then worked for a few years as a mfgr's rep in the housewares industry, and learned a bit about gourmet cooking (at the cost of about 20 pounds because the food was soooo good) and learned about big retail like department stores and discount chains. Now I work part time as a sales rep for Baltimore Concrete Products Co., as mentioned above.
