Pat's Story

To all those that might wonder, here is where I am in the world. I have a spouse and we worked together running my business for the last 17years. I have a beautiful Daughter 3 grand boys and a granddaughter and a son who is working in a Machine shop and appears to be doing well. A step daughter and step son and 7 step grandchildren as well. Work, I have lived in the heart of Dallas/Fort Worth since I was 18. Where I went to Engineering school, graduated and went to work designing oilfield test equipment. I have been in engineering and related work since graduating business school. I have Designed and drafted circuit boards and loads of mechanical tools. In 85 opened a film company to produce film tooling for industry, and it still going. I've built a shop onto my house and walk 20 feet to work..lol Some of my bigest besides my children, are that I have produced film for the mainboard for the Nasa SpaceShuttle in the early 90's. I am currently producing film for NASA, Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, Bell, or their subcontractors as well as about 400 more customers local and worldwide. In the late 90's I partnered and built the largest circuit board antenna company in the world, we built the Sprint PCS network tower antennas. Over the years I have built ten companies of which 7 are still alive and going, including my current Film tooling business ...Expand for more
gplotting . com. I spend most of my free time designing/prototyping new products, both for me and my customers, that I hope make it to market sometime. You can see some of what I do at my web .gplotting (dot) com I enjoy fishing and going to the gulf, There are more than two dozen of local lakes. I do quite a bit of gardening, carpentry etc. I cook quite a bit, both BBQ and smoking meats, baking and the occasional entertaining. I created a strawberry pound cake recipe, and used this for my step daughters wedding cake. I also made the grooms cake and decorated them both myself. I make loads of candy at Christmas, some hand dipped chocolates, nearly 2000 each Christmas. I do not get to travel for more than a weekend but would love to. I am one of the very last that do what I do, and there are no vacations, or days off. In high school I never had a concept of the feeling of loss of all those that were there. Every time I go back to Belen I never see anyone I know. How sad most of us had to move away to earn a living. I really miss the people, the food and the mountains. I would love to visit with my old (aren't we all) friends. I hope ya'll are all still out there!!! I really would like to hear from anyone that knows about, Alice Norris or any that I so enjoyed back then, I would love to hear from ya'll... . Thanks for looking. My best, Pat
