Pat's Story

I was raised I Flin Flon. I graduated from Hapnot High School In 1972. Graduated from St. Boniface School of Nursing LPN program in 1975. Married my husband Bob in 1975. Lived in Portage La Prairie for 13 years. Worked at Portage General Hospital until 1989.My husband farmed. Living on a farm was quite a change for me but adapted well and quite enjoyed it. Island in 1989. Lived in several areas on the Island over the 12 years spent on the Island. We have 3 children - 2 sons, 1 daughter. We Had some awesome experiences while living by the ocean. Loved the climate. No snow to shovel! Moved to Alberta in 2001. Except for the snow we are pretty comfortable here.Still working at the Hospital close to Full time on an acute stroke unit.
