Pat's Story
I now have a Master's of Science degree, specializing in Addiction Psychology, from Capella University! My commencement ceremony, in Minneapolis, was on August 11, 2007! I'm currently working in my community attempting to assist the homeless and others who are struggling with substance abuse issues.
In my spare time, I enjoy hobbies such as stained glass, needlecraft, (i.e. knitting, crocheting, embroidery), genealogy and Star Trek! My genealogical research turned up information that may shock people who have known me for YEARS!!!!!!

My great-grandfather, Benjamin M. McCoy, was written into the Congressional Records in 1868 and he had been elected to the Washington, DC Common Council in 1870. His family dates back to 1780.
He is mentioned in a book, The Uncivil War: Washington During the Reconstruction, 1865-1878 by James H. Whyte. (This book is now out of print. A copy can be found in the Library of Congress.)
My paternal grandmother is from the PINDELL Family that were among the first to colonize Prince George's County, Maryland back in the 1600's.
