Pat's Story
Life
My Spouse
Carol Hansen introduced me to my husband, Harold. He introduced her to her future husband and their son married our daughter. My husband was in the Air Force at that time, and so I definitely went to different places: Panama City, Florida; New Orleans, Louisiana; and finally settled in the Tidewater area of Virginia near Williamsburg. We have three grown children and three grandchildren.
My Pets
We have a Maltese mix named Bitsy. We got Bitsy from the SPCA. And just recently we acquired a Yorkie, named Digger, also from the SPCA. They play well together, when Digger isn't searching for moles and things in our backyard. Update: We now have three dogs, Molly,...Expand for more
a black bundle of joy, adopted us.
My Kids
Our oldest son, Brian, is an Eagle Scout who discovered his career in the Boy Scouts. He was a corpsman in the Navy and now works for a local hospital. He has two boys. Our only daughter, Margie, married Carol Hansen's son Glen and they have an eighteen-year old girl. She lives in Winston-Salem, NC.
Our youngest son George is active-duty Air Force stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. He is married and has four step-children. Since the last writing, he has had a heart transplant and is fully retiring from the Air Force at the end of June, 2016.
My Job
Primarily, I'm retired.
