Pat's Story
Life
Brenda Schoengarth and I were married in 1976, and we're still married. We have two children, son Sean born in 1986 and daughter Taryn born in 1988. I went on to graduate from the University of California, Davis in 1978 with a BS in zoology, and then from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 with a doctorate of veterinary medicine. worked since, being promoted in 1996 to senior vet. In 1997 I became board certified in zoo medicine with the American College of Zoological Medicine, and then in 2000 was again promoted to director of vet services for the zoo. I am so lucky to be with the woman I love and to work at the job I love.
Brenda and I live in Ramona, Ca - nice little place kind of like Palmdale used to be. I still play the bass guitar for a rock and roll band. Brenda is working at the San Diego Wild Animal Park in the finance department.
