Pat's Story
I was in retail management with the retail outlet Robinson Stores until its bankruptcy in 1984.
I moved from Flin Flon to Portage La Prairie (where I met and married my wife), was in Killarney, Minnedosa and Saskatoon and finally transgereed to Lac La Biche Ab.
I went to work with the local hospital and was in various positions until layoffs through reorganization when I was there as the Director of Finance.
After bankruptcy with Robinson Stores and downsizing with the Health Authorities, I have been with the Government of Alberta as a Human Resource Consultant since 1998 serving Children Services.

e 4 children in addition to the the 2 children we took in from my sister upon her death in 1979. We now have 7 grandchildren.
I was ordained as a permanent deacon with the Catholic Church in 2007. I love my work preparing couples for marriage as well as visiting with the sick and dying, the widows and widowers.
I have not had much contact with anyone in Flin Flon since my departure in the mid 70's. I have not had the opportunity to make one reunion. I am uncertain on why I have connected to this website other than the normal curiosity on what has happened to the people I attended school with over the years. Age??
