Pat's Story
Life
I moved to Delaware in 1987 after finishing Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts. I moved to Delaware to accept a State position with the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services. For 15 years I was the Director of Behavioral Services in our Community Services department. In 2003 I accepted the position of Director of Residential Development and now work out of our Director's Office. I love my job and intend to stay with the Division until I retire.
I am single and very involved with my family. My dad, my sister Linda, and I live in homes next to each other. A quick update on my family is as follows: Linda graduated from Wareham High in 1968. She set up & man...Expand for more
ages a cardiac practice. She has a 6 acre farm and has a horse and a mule. Her daughter Kelly is a trauma room nurse and has 4 children ( Bryn is 17, Braeden is 12, Keegan is 7, and Brogan is 18 months). My nephew Brian is married & living in North Carolina. He has 3 daughters (Haley is 5, Lindsey is 2 months, and Hannah is 1 months). Kelly lives just 1/2 a mile away so we all see each other frequently.
My dad is retired (finally) and is very healthy. My mom passed away in July. We greatly miss her.
Not sure what else to include. I'm very happy with my choice of career. I don't think I would change anything about my career choice.
I hope to hear from folks I knew in high school.
