Pat's Story
Life
I went to Eastern from 1951 (7th grade) to 1955 (10th). I moved to Nashville for a year, then to Coral Gables, Fla, and finally to Houston, Texas were I graduated in 1957. I attended UofHouston for a couple of yrs but did not graduate. I was a Real Estate agent for a while. I have been married for 46 years, have 2 sons and 1 daughter, 4 grandaughters, and 1 grandson (ages 19 yrs to 4 mon.) We moved to Galveston Island, Texas about 10 yrs ago. bay side of the island. I managed a Vacation Rental Co. for awhile but am now keeping my two smallest grandchildren for my son, who is a home builder on the island and his wife who is a Real Estate agent. I love living in Galveston because it is semi tropical (we usually don't get a freeze in the winter). The first time I came back to Kentucky was in 1988 and I was amazed to seen how everything had grown between St Matthews and Middletown. I am hoping to make another trip sometime in 2005.
