Life After graduating from Warren High in Downey in 1965 I began working at Rockwell International on the space program for 15 years helping put the man on the moon. During this time I also worked in Reliability on the Space Shuttle Program at Rockwell in Downey. I worked for a short while at L'Eggs Hosiery where I met and married my ex-husband Jim. After raising two children at home on about 4 acres of land with horses, goats, pigs, dogs, cats and a cow near San Diego, CA, I began finishing my degree while the kids were in school. I began a short acting career then worked for lawyers as their marketing and public relations director for nearly 20 years. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications from San Diego State University, divorced my husband and found a wonderful fiancee whom I married September 2006 at Mission San Luis Rey. I have three grandchild! We are all friends and love to get together with the children and grandkids for family holidays, school events - it is very peaceful. After marrying in 2006, I had a bit of questionable luck when I fell down our stairs and broke my elbow and rotator cuff leading to a couple of surgeries which I healed perfectly from - perfect range of motion at my age! I'm back to the gym now and happy to be active. My greatest pride comes from the fact that my daughter Jaimie-Lyn is a spiritual Catholic woman and that my son, Steve, has been initiated into the Catholic Church at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lakeside, CA at the Easter Vigil 2010.
