Patricia's Story
SO... who I am...the only thing I can say to that is I am and will always be Trish, Cindy and Larry's daughter, Kenny and Megean's mom, and (at least I hope and try to be) a good friend. After graduating I stayed around Tampa for a year, worked at Rico's Pizza (can anybody tell me if it is still there, across the bridge from The Univercity of Tampa?), got bored and joined the Army. While serving in Ft. Bliss, Texas (Ft Blister to those who know..lol) I met and married my ex-husband and we had my son Kenneth. We left Ft Bliss for a post in Germany ( beautiful country, but not enough sun for this Florida girl) where I got pregnant with and had my daughter Megean. After my husband and I split up I finished my tour there and moved on to Ft Eustis, Virginia (Even Uncle Sam Thinks It Sucks..we were BIG on acronyms in the serv...Expand for more
ice). I finished my remaining time in the Army there and was Honorably discharged in 1999. I stayed in the area until October og 2001 when my best friend's Reserve unit in Alabama was called up in response to 9/11, at which time I hightailed it to Huntsville to be with her and help her with her kids if she had to deploy (I know it is selfish and I feel for those who did, but thank God she never had to go). I lived there and worked at Ruby Tuesdays as an Assistant Manager (boy did the acting classes ever help with that job...who knew I'd put Mrs. Linda Haynes' calsses to daily use) for two years befor moving back to my Dad's hometown of Chattanooga in 2003. I have been here ever since and currently work in the Quality Control Department of National Posters, a printing company that does printwork for companies nationwide.
