Patricia's Story
I came to Northwestern in September, 1964 as a senior. It was my first year since first grade in public school. I had spent all those years in Catholic School. Most of the first half was spent just adjusting and finding my way around. Fortunately, I was familiar with a few people at Northwestern.

k College. I married in 1967 and had two children. I retired from Ford Motor Company in 1996 and began a second career that I had to leave because of my vision problems.
In 1994, I began my work in Haiti, I created a group at my church, Sacred Heart in Detroit. Each year we travel to Haiti taking supplies and money there. I am still doing this.
That is what I do.
