Life
After Graduating from Garfield in the summer of 1961, I married Bill Lawson (from El Rancho High) in Sept. of 1961. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in Sept. 2011 - Wow! Where did the years go! We lived in Whittier for 7 years, then moved to Laguna Beach, CA and are still here. We have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I went back to school in 1976 and received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton, and my master's degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. 15 years. I retired from my psychology practice, and am now a custom pen maker, (writing intruments). I have my own online business and travel to pen shows around the country. I love it! First love was David Barney (at Humphrey's Ave Elementary) and a severe crush on Mike Flores too... First Jr high/High school love was Sonny (Leo) Vigil. Some best girlfriends were Judy Wayt, Bonnie Smith, Mary Catino, Carol Blodgett and Loranne Taylor.
