Patricia's Story
I joined the WAVES in 1970, that's U.S. Navy, went to Treasure Island San Francisco, San Diego , Tacoma Washington, didn't return to Michigan for 7 years, 3 marriages, I divorced all three...:LOL....Now, after the Navy I went to Cosmetology School and was a Cosmetologist for about 2 years, then moved back to Michigan and started working at G.M. in Romulus, after 10 years, (kinda joined my dad and my brothers there)....at which I was one of the only female Engine Repairman on the 8.2 liter truck engine line, I took...Expand for more
the 10 year buy out and went to O.C.C. Highland lakes campus and became an R.N. suma cum laude, almost didn't graduate from Cooley, spent my time reading Sci Fi and not doing the work...ugh...LOL...so any way, became a Cardiac Charge Nurse for 8 years at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital. Then I took my leave of working for a while and started making jewelry, not sell so much so I am back to work as a secretary, a lot less stress...loving it here in Florida...Two fine boys and two lovely granddaughters and life is good.
