Patricia's Story

I went to one year at USD. Worked as a telephone operator for PAC Bell. Had a son and got married to a man with four children. Married for 30 years. Worked at Northrop Aircraft as a purchasing agent for 12 years. Moved to Lake Isabella in 1980. Did income taxes. My son died of Hodgkin’s at age 22. Went back to school and got a BS in Mathematics and a teaching credential. Taught 8th grade...Expand for more
math for 10 years then high school for 11 years. Legally separated then husband died in 2013. I retired from teaching in 2011 and have since moved to Las Vegas. No state income tax and cheaper living. Play the machines every once in awhile🤪. Living with two roommates one of which I taught with and have known fir 32 years. Active in church for the past 22 years and so happy to be back.
