Patricia's Story
Life
After high school I married, had two kids, worked, and divorced. Exciting stuff, huh? I remained in Deer Park most of that time. In December of '97 I remarried and in July of '98 we relocated from Long Island to Lafayette, Indiana where my husband teaches at Purdue U. Since moving here I have been busy getting involved in community affairs. My sons, Drew and Matthew, are grown and on their own now, and I have even grandchildren and step-grandchildren. The slower pace of the midwest agrees with me.
School
High School was great. I loved being part of the music program, and I loved ...Expand for more
the friends it brought into my life. Time spent in the music department was what really got me through HS. I still laugh thinking about going to Tony's Pizza in our band uniforms after a game.
I spent the years after high school working and raising a family. Finding myself single at 42, with friends telling me middle aged women don't make it in the dating world, I prepared to enjoy my own company for the rest of my life. And then my current husband appeared and changed my plans. You just never know...... I live in Indiana now and travel back to NY frequently to see family and friends.
