Patricia's Story
Life
My husband C.J. and I are now living in Texarkana, Texas.The longer we are here, the more Texas grows on you! We live in the northeast corner near Arkansas. In fact Texarkana, is on the border. We do like the weather here. Mild winters, and long summers!
I still make the porcelean dolls, and do a lot of sewing for them. But I now have two real dolls to sew for. One is ten, and the other is two. Both live long distance, one is in Washington State and the other is in Reading, Pa. I have made several heirloom dresses and the girls love them! I've even done some smocking!
I still sing in a church choir. It is the...Expand for more
contempoary choir, we have guitars and drums, and sometimes a cello and violin. We do a wide range of music. Which keeps it interesting!
It looks like C.J. and I will be staying here for quite some time to come. I think it will be nice to settle in one spot for more than a few years!
My parents are still doing well in their home on Clay St. in Hopewell. Dad is 91, and Mom is 88. Most people are surprised to hear that they are still living in their home, and taking care of themselves. I just hope that those genes have been passed on to me!
