Patricia's Story

September 1, 2014 Dear Classmates, The recent Melbourne High School Class of 1974 40th Reunion “Bowling Bash” was a success although small in number we were large in spirit. Attendees were engaged in sharing memories of our school days, remembering classmates, teachers, and favorite school stories. We also shared our life stories. We enjoyed the camaraderie, food (City Limits) and bowling (Shorelanes bowling Center). Bartender and waitress Ashlie was wonderful. One ideal discussed and I want to get everyone’s opinion on is turning this event (Bowling Bash) into a yearly event for our class. Our class would challenge other Melbourne Classes in a bowling competition/fundraiser. Funds raised would be given as a scholarship to a current graduating Melbourne High School senior. Everyone thought it was a great idea. So I want to put it out into the atmosphere. I believe it would be a fun and fruitful event and living legacy from the Class of 1974. Our class has great bowlers as I learned this past weekend. Please respond by Oct. 1st, 2014 with your thoughts and comments. Sincerely,...Expand for more
